How to prepare for a Session

The most important way to prepare for a session is from the moment you have decided to schedule an appointment is to have a clear and direct communication with the part of you that is able to provide healing and information. That part of you is your Higher Self.  Say to yourself, “I have a clear and direct communication with my Higher Self.

You can then repeat this intention silently or out loud throughout your day and most importantly, right before you go to sleep at night.

Prior to the day of the session prepare a list of about 10-15 questions you would like your Higher Self to answer and bring them with you (typed or neatly written).  The questions should be about YOU – not somebody else and will flow smoothly through the session when you put them in this order.  Questions can range from health issues, relationship, families, partners, work, any personal challenges that you are currently experiencing and about your life purpose.  Also, put these questions in the order of importance as we may not be able to address them all. See examples below:

  • What is my life purpose?
  • Am I on the right path?
  • What can I do to help myself get on my spiritual path?
  • I had something happen in my life. (Experience, dream, knowing, etc.) What was it, and why did it happen?
  • I have a difficult relationship with my spouse, child, sibling. Why is this, and how can it be healed?
  • Have I had a past life with my child, husband, wife, friend, parent, etc.?
  • I really dislike my job and would like to quit and find a new one. Should I?
  • What is the best job for me?
  • Why do I have this pain, allergy or illness?
  • Can I ask for healing for my loved one, e.g., pet, mother, child?
  • Why can’t I lose weight?
  • How can I create more peace or balance or abundance in my life?
  • Can I improve my intuitive or psychic skills?
  • Can I have guidance on how to open my 3rd eye?
  • Why have I always been fascinated with aliens and ET’s?

Try to pay attention to your dreams before your appointment. Write them down. They are messages for YOU and it can help with your session. If you do not already meditate, it’s a good time to start. At the very least, give yourself quiet time daily to quiet your mind chatter. ​

Don’t drink alcoholic or caffeinated beverages before the session or the evening before, if possible. If you are a regular morning coffee drinker, please don’t skip your coffee, but keep it to a minimum before your session.  Additionally, don’t take recreational drugs for at least a week before a session. The intention is to go into wonderful state of deep relaxation. ​Taking any of the aforementioned can affect, block or receive information in a session.

Practice relaxing prior to the session: Just close your eyes and bring your awareness to any part of your body where there is tension. Breathe into that space until you feel the tension lessen or dissolve. Stay in that space for as long as you can, just locate any tension until your whole body is relaxed. Get a good night’s sleep:  If you meditate, do so the morning or day of your appointment to help clear your mind. If you don’t meditate, then do something that calms you like taking a nice relaxing walk, petting your pet or listening to some soothing music. This is an ideal time to repeat your intention, “I have a clear and direct communication with my Higher Self.”  We want your body relaxed, but your mind quiet, alert and engaged.

What to eat:  Your session could last up to 5 hours or longer so eat something before you arrive. Be sure to eat something after the session so that it will ground you so bring a snack with you.

What to wear:  Since you may be lying down for a couple of hours, you should wear comfortable, light, loose-fitting clothes that won’t constrict your circulation or over-heat you while you’re lying under a blanket.

There is no need to be nervous on the day of your session. Allow yourself to believe in what you are experiencing. Have the intent to receive the answers and the help that you need and want such as: peace, joy, relief, clarity, health, wellness, abundance, love, harmony and freedom.
